Celebrating the final day of Adam Khalil’s and Bayley Sweitzer’s current Spike Island exhibition Nosferasta, the gallery hosts a special screening of F.W. Murnau’s classic silent film Nosferatu, A Symphony of Horror (1922). An unauthorised adaptation of Bram Stoker’s Dracula (1897) starring Max Schreck (vampire Count Orlok), Gustav von Wangenheim and Greta Schröder, Nosferatu marked the first appearance on screen of Dracula and it remains one of the eeriest of the many film versions.
The film will be accompanied by a special live performance by modular synth musician Surgeons Girl.
